Pitt Bull
May 31st 1999 - May 14, 2011
Loved by Cynthia Fregeau, James Wilton, Logan & Zachary Wilton.

Our eldest, cuddly Pit Bull. What else can I say? She was the root of our marriage, the one that enabled my husband and I to meet each other, on a rainy day in a Montreal dog park, back when I had my own young canine companion, Buddy. Without her, I would not have studied animal sciences, dog training, nor would I have developed an interest for dog sports. The only sport she could still safely practice, at her old age was Skijoring. She would joyfully trot along, and enjoy each outing. Her second favourite sport was: the ‘’I-Lie-on-the-Couch-and-Watch-TV-Comfortably’’. Not far behind was her uttermost enthusiasm for digging in the mud under the back gallery… A little bit mischievous, she would await the arrival of the sesame seed bagels in the grocery bags, in case they were left forgotten for a split second… She would not touch anything else, but she could not hold back from pouncing on a bagel left unattended! Her job title: ‘’Monster-Hunter’’. She was the only remedy that enabled our little boy to get through his intense nightmares phase… According to our then 4-year-old son, she ‘’chomped’’ on monsters. Her extraordinary patience with children & babies made her an exemplary family dog. Beware if you crossed the front door, you would be smothered in dog kisses!
