Hoopers is a sport that resmebles agility but that has low impact on the dog, presents minimal risks of injuries and is stills omehow tough for the human. The objective is to develop the handling at a distance using hoops as obstacles.

Introduction to Hoopers

5 weeks/5 classes of 55 minutes
For dogs who are able to wokr in a group class setting

Hoopers is a style of agility with low impact on dogs’ joints but with good challenges for the handler and the dog. The objective is to complete an obstacle course consisting of hoops, barrels, a wall and short or half tunnels.

We start with the introduction of the equipment with the basics to then be able to complete small sequences close to the dog but also at a distance from the dog to teach him to be independent with the obstacles and to gain confidence away from its handler.
This sport is perfect for young dogs, dogs who cannot impact the joints or older dogs!

Novice Hoopers

5 weeks/5 classes of 55 minutes
For dogs who are able to wokr in a group class setting

The novice level consists of small sequences with the different types of courses (Hoopers, Parkour, Tungo and Choice) The courses will have between 5 and 15 obstacles. During this level we will work on independence and distance from obstacles, we will also learn the differences between the different games offered and the points system for competition.
The ultimate goal is to have fun while growing in this sport!

Advanced Hoopers

5 weeks/5 classes of 55 minutes
For dogs who are able to work in a group class setting

During the advanced level of Hoopers you will learn to complete sequences at a competition level with the different types of courses (Hoopers, Parkour, Tungo and Choice) You will continue to work on independence and distance from obstacles, along with learning the differences between the different games offered and the points system for competition.
The goal is to have fun while growing in this sport 🙂
